Combined Training Express League 2026

Have you ever heard of Combined Training Express. Well, this is something new to the club and the area. To be honest, we are unsure if anyone else has thought about it.

We will not be hosting combined training events, throughout the year.  Yes!  you have read that correctly. We will NOT be hosting combined training events but are hosting the elements of the competition bi-monthly. You can pick and choose, when to come to events and collect points once you have completed both elements.

A typically combined training class costs you, on average £24 to £28 per class. If we hosted this bimonthly and you wanted to compete in a league it would cost you £120, for 5 events and that’s not including the fuel to the venue.

Combined Training Express,  you save money and have the following options

PAY AS YOU GO

As additional payment when booking the scheduled Showjumping and Dressage class at each event.  

BBDRC Members:   

Pay additional £6 per competition class, this can be done on whilst booking your showjumping or dressage competition via Equo Events.

BBDRC Non Members:

Pay additional £8 per competition class.  This can be done on booking your showjumping or dressage competition via Equo.

ONE OFF PAYMENT

No additional cost whilst booking the scheduled Showjumping and Dressage class at each event.  

BBDRC Members:   

One upfront payment of £50, Saving you £10. If you competed every month.

BBDRC Non Members:

One upfront Payment of £70, saving you £10 if you competed every month

We will be checking payments to ensure that everyone plays by the rules and fairly.

HOW DOES IT WORK

You compete in an allocated round on the schedule, we will keep record of your jumping penalties from the showjumping element and your dressage score from the allocated test will be what we use. To get your placing we will get your final score by deducting the penalties from the  showjumping phase from the total score of the dressage phase.

ROSETTES 

Placed to 6^th and will be rewarded bimonthly, Rosettes will be picked up from us from our event at Lane Farm Equestrian.

There will be classes you can compete in to suit everyone abilities.

1. Intro test with 20cm
2. Intro test with 40cm jumping round.
3. Prelim test with 60cm jumping round
4. Novice Dressage with 70cm Show Jumping
5. Elementary Dressage with 80cm Show Jumping

Age 10 and under

Riding an intro test with a 20cm Showjumping Course

Not to won a showjumping class at 60cm or a preliminary test.

Intro League

Junior / Senior mixed

Riding an intro test with a 40cm Showjumping course

Not to won a showjumping class at 60cm or a preliminary test.

Prelim League

Junior / Senior mixed

Riding a Prelim test with a 60cm Showjumping round

Not to won a showjumping class at 80cm or a Novice Test

Novice League

Junior / Senior mixed

Riding a Novice test with a 70cm Showjumping round

Not to won a showjumping class at 90cm or a Elementary Test

Elementary League.

Junior / Senior mixed

Riding a Elementary Dressage with a 80cm Show Jumping

Not to won a showjumping class at 100cm or a Medium Test.

All sash and rosettes will be presented at our November awards.

Overall Junior

The Junior with the highest points wins overall junior and will be presented with trophy, Sash and Ribbon will be presented at our November awards.

Overall Senior.

The Senior with the highest points wins overall junior and will be presented with trophy, Sash and Ribbon will be presented at our November awards.
